Where to park in Pitigliano: parking options
Pitigliano offers several parking options to welcome visitors conveniently.
From free parking to paid lots, you will find spaces both near the historic center and in the surrounding areas.
During peak season and on weekends, it’s recommended to arrive early to secure a spot easily. Pitigliano is a village best explored on foot: choose the most convenient parking and enjoy your visit!
Via San Michele
A strategic location with quick access to the historic center.
Parking here is available for cars only.
Paid parking.
Piazza Dante Alighieri
Parking in this area is free, but spaces can be harder to find during peak tourist times. In addition to the spots in the square, in front of and around the church, there is a free parking area next to the Zuccarelli School.
Even here, you will be close to the village center.
Via Santa Chiara
Along this street toward Sorano, you’ll find a parking area (both free and paid) on the right, in front of and behind the former slaughterhouse.
The historic center is about a five-minute walk from here.
You can also take advantage of the panoramic walkway – known as “Il Camminamento” – which leads directly to Piazza della Repubblica.
Piazza Nenni
This is the largest and most convenient parking area, just a few minutes’ walk from the historic center, making it an excellent option for leaving your car safely.
The area also has spaces for camper vans.
Paid parking.
