“La moglie perfetta” (“The Perfect Wife”), written, directed, and performed by Giulia Trippetta (a Marche Teatro – Agidi production), tells the paradoxical and revealing journey of a young woman determined to take a course to become… the perfect wife.
Between improbable exercises, absurd rules, and manuals that seem to come from another era, the protagonist uncovers—one by one—the conditioning and expectations that society continues to impose on women, often in subtle, invisible ways.
With an ironic, sharp, and deeply self-aware perspective, the performance dismantles stereotypes and ready-made models, offering the audience a clear-sighted and surprisingly entertaining reflection on personal freedom, gender roles, and the path required to break free from the weight of others’ expectations.
“La moglie perfetta” is a theatrical journey that makes you both laugh and think, offering a sincere and courageous point of view on the desire to be oneself, beyond any label.
