The "Francesco Zuccarelli" Library
The Library is located inside the historic Palazzo Orsini, a place of significant historical value.
Founded in 1864, it is named after the famous painter Francesco Zuccarelli, a native of the tuff towns area.
The Library offers a vast collection of books and multimedia materials, as well as hosting cultural events and temporary exhibitions.
The “Francesco Zuccarelli” Library is part of GROBAC, the Grosseto Libraries, Archives, Documentation Centers Network, and offers inter-lending services with all libraries connected to the network.
For over 160 years, the Library has supported the personal growth and development of the Pitigliano community, facilitating access to information and knowledge, and promoting culture in all its forms.
