Founded in 1957 by Giuliano Celata, Panificio Celata is a point of reference for artisanal bread making. The tradition continues today with his daughter Marinella and son-in-law Maurizio, who keep the old production methods alive, with constant attention to the authenticity and quality of the raw materials.
Among the bakery’s specialties, bread and loaves also with sourdough, focaccia and fragrant pizzas, as well as typical local sweets such as sfratto, a delicious roll filled with dried fruit and honey. There is no shortage of biscuits and ricciarelli, available in the classic version or enriched with chopped hazelnuts and pistachios.
Where possible, local ingredients are used, such as extra virgin olive oil, flours and honey. Particular care is dedicated to organic products, such as the rusks prepared with wholemeal flours of spelt, rye and ancient grain Abbondanza Bio.
