Guided visit to a little-known corner of Pitigliano, Castel Juliano, today called La Roccaccia.
The ruin stands to dominate the valley of the river Nova and was an ancient place of control where wine was also produced.
The history of this place is that of border places, always at war with each other and subject to sudden changes. On our tour we will pass from the Municipality of Pitigliano to that of Farnese, from Tuscany to Lazio…
Not far away, the Tenuta Roccaccia organic farm was born, which has been involved in the production of wine and oil for three generations. At the end of the tour, the tasting of these excellent products awaits us!
Appointment at 9:30am in Pitigliano, at Tenuta Roccaccia.
