Forty figures will shape a fascinating re-enactment of Bethlehem two thousand years ago, enlivening Aldobrandeschi Street and adjacent alleys.
Visitors will be able to admire scenes of daily life with traditional crafts such as carpenters, blacksmiths, cheese sellers and those who make bread and porridge. There will be refreshment stations along the route where you can enjoy pancakes, mulled wine and a selection of local products.
The Living Nativity, in addition to being a religious event, is an important cultural and social occasion, designed for young and old alike, that manages to combine tradition and family sharing moments.
The event will be repeated on Monday, Dec. 30, and Friday, Jan. 3, also starting at 4:00 pm.
