The Villa Corano winery is located in the heart of the upper Maremma Toscana, a few minutes from Pitigliano. Here Stefano Formiconi, pioneer of Maremma viticulture, over the course of his forty years of experience has selected and planted native and international vines that are more suitable for a land with a strong viticultural vocation.
A suggestive avenue of cypresses surrounded by vineyards leads to the company’s cellar. The cellar includes the fermentation area and the room reserved for aging in barriques; outside a convivial table in the shade of a large oak where guests can taste the company’s products and enjoy the spectacle of nature, an experience that can also be replicated inside the cellar thanks to a recently inaugurated tasting meeting room.
Wisely combining tradition and technology, Villa Corano produces white and red wines of great personality, which refer to the typical flavors and aromas of the area; wines recommended by prestigious specialized guides but above all appreciated by consumers and connoisseurs.
