The b&b is a historic house from the end of the 19th century built entirely of tuff, on the grounds of the Orsini Park in Pitigliano. It was the home-workshop of the craftsmen who built wagons until 1950 and if you listen to it, it will tell you its story…
The idea of transforming it into an accommodation facility was born in 2000 due to the passion and desire to live in the Tuscan Maremma of Cinzia, the host of the Casa dei Carrai. So with great impetus, he renovated the rooms, changed, improved, coloured, until the old shop became a b&b. All of this was done without changing the old profile.
The structure is large, comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen that is always available to guests, a large living room, library, television and free wi-fi in all rooms. The garden outside is used for breakfast but also for spending an afternoon chatting. Guests often say they feel at home, at a friend’s house.
