The Cantina di Pitigliano was founded in 1954 with the aim of collecting and transforming the wine production of the tufa area in order to present a single quality product on the market.
Furthermore, the Bianco di Pitigliano wine is one of the first DOCs in Italy, a recognition conferred on the Cantina di Pitigliano in 1966.
In addition to the famous Bianco, the winery produces wines of the highest quality, reds that fall under the denominations Rosso Sovana and DOC Maremma and sparkling wines. The minerality and freshness in the white wines make every sip a dive into our territory. The balance and spicy notes of the red wines refer directly to the soils of our vineyards. The winery thanks to its oil mill is also a producer of extra virgin olive oil.
At the sales point in via Nicola Ciacci in a modern atmosphere of an environment furnished entirely in corten it is also possible to have tastings and visit the company working environments and the monumental cellar dug into the tuff which is located in via Vignoli, in the historic center of Pitigliano .
